Pelosi details the Democrats plan for the "first 100 legislative hours in office" when the new Congress convenes in January:
•Restore civility to House operations, and break the link between lobbyists and legislation.
•Pass all the recommendations made by the bipartisan, independent Sept. 11 commission.
•Raise the minimum wage.
•Cut the interest rate on student loans in half.
•Allow the government to negotiate lower drug prices for Medicare patients.
•Roll back the multibillion-dollar subsidies for large oil companies, and invest in energy independence.
