Exploring the High Line
A Blog Soup spends an afternoon exploring the High Line, the abandoned elavated train platform that runs 20 blocks down the west side of Manhattan starting at 34th St., and comes back with tons of great photos of the views, vegetation and street art. Lots of cool links and info too... explore the High Line!

Our fond high line memories include attending an Outlaw Party thrown a top a section in the late 80's. A group called AM/PM productions would spread the word that a party was going down at some off beat public spot, and they'd drive in trucks blasting music and a few more loaded with full bars, a couple hundred club kidz would show up. The high line party was one of their best, they even provided ladders. The parties always ended with a swarm of cops and a bunch of drunk and drugged out kidz running for the hills. Good times.
